The no-eyebrow fashion trend in autumn 2009

The runways this fall have been showcasing models with little or no eyebrows at all. In the Rick Owens fashion show, the look was fierce with some dyed brows and cat-eyeliners. Givenchy gives the same look in their house where eyebrowless supermodel Adriana Lima posed in the Fall/Winter 2009 campaign. In Anterprima, gray, black and everything neutral rule. With the serious stare from their thinly-browed model, the goodbye-summer mood is on. Pat McGrath, whom Vogue called as the world's most influential make-up artist, is probably the major no-brow trendsetter. She made another statement during the Prada and Balenciaga show where she painted the models' eyes to effect modern jungle amazons. McGrath told The New York Times, "No brows has been a beauty option since the beginning of time. Think of those looming images of Queen Elizabeth...

"So now, the big question is... Are you a "yes-brow" or a "no-brow"?

It is quite funny because the no-brow look is like a way of showing you hate this economy. It looks gloomy, doesn't it?
