American Idol Crystal Bowersox will compete against fellow guitar-playing finalists, Casey James, Lee Dewyze and Michael Lynche at Kodak Theater in Hollywood, CA.

Despite another ok moment during the Frank Sinatra night, Bowersox once again saved by her fans' votes.

Lynche stayed for awhile on the bottom-two spotlight with 17-year-old Aaron Kelly, until the latter was given his last opportunity to sing for Idol Season 9.

Next Tuesday, America will welcome back mentor Jamie Foxx for the song-of-the-cinema week.

Crystal shone on Sinatra night

Bowersox, also known as MamaSox, evolved from a self-professed subway busker into an elegant crooner the night before the results.

The 24-year-old only female contestant looked dainty as she rendered Sinatra’s Summer Wind – a subdued song that Idol judge Simon Cowell thought as “a little indulgent”.

Nevertheless, she still had her shining moment because America loves Crystal Bowersox.

The indie artist from Elliston, Ohio was fabulously transformed on Sinatra night. Bowersox's dreadlocks delicately gathered in her updo were barely noticeable. Her fancy black gown molded her into a classic diva sans the Bohemian look she is known for. As the camera turned around, it revealed the huge sunflower tattoo on her back.

Next Tuesday, on American Idol’s Top 4 Movie Week, let us check out how head costume designer Soyon An will style Boho Bowersox.
